Intracoastal Waterway Bore Project

August 18, 2026 – The City of Lake Worth Beach Electric Utilities Department will begin the Intracoastal Waterway Bore Project, installing a new underground conduit beneath the Intracoastal Waterway to strengthen electric system reliability and resilience for customers east of Ocean Boulevard.

July 22, 2026 – Lake Worth Beach Electric Utilities has expanded access to CitizenOwnedEnergy.com by adding English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole language options. This enhancement, made in response to feedback from the Lake Worth Beach City Commission, helps more residents easily access important utility information, programs, and updates in their preferred language.
